Java Technical Lead – Plano, TX

Required Technical & Functional Skills
  • Lead a team of 5‑6 members and ensure delivery.
  • Strong expertise with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot microservice development and integration.
  • Experience with EKS, Docker, and Kafka message broker.
  • Experience with AWS cloud, Kubernetes, ECS.
  • Experience with Log4j, JUnit or other unit testing frameworks.
  • Experience with No

    SQL databases such as Mongo

    DB.
  • Experience with RDBMS like Postgre

    SQL, Aurora.
  • Exposure to JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in Web Services (SOAP and REST), microservices.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka framework and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design and microservice design patterns.
  • Experience with gateway integration and API platforms like Mule Soft.
  • Exposure to React

    JS is a nice to have.
  • Experience in API and application security such as OAuth and SSO.
  • Testing, debugging and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Experience in performance tuning.
  • Coordinating with UI and backend developers for integration.
  • Working in continuous delivery environment.
  • Playing a role as technical lead and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to design customer journeys and data models.
  • Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud platforms such as Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, and Mobile Studio.
  • Conceptual understanding to establish data models, work with APIs and configurations.
  • Explain architecture and overall implementation strategy.
  • Achieve multi‑year program deadlines, scope, and benefits.
  • Define program strategies based on business demand and ROI expectations.
  • Partner with customer leadership on change & communication plans, information distribution, and cross‑CoSA collaboration.
  • Enforce agile workflow and hold team accountable for responsibilities.
  • Anticipate challenges, identify risks, recommend mitigations and solutions.
  • Own and drive those solutions, encouraging self‑accountable and empowered teams.
  • Lead key agile meetings such as Scrum workshops, shape discussions, share best‑practice.
  • Impeccable communication and time management skills, expertise in project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
  • Create functional features & user stories with clear acceptance criteria from high‑level requirements.
  • Lead product backlog grooming sessions with stakeholders in business & technology, ensuring requirements are well understood.
