Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. Candidate must have the ability to lead a technical team while demonstrating deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and modern cloud-native architectures.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Lead and coordinate a team of developers to ensure successful delivery of microservice‑based solutions.
• Drive the design and implementation of Java and Spring Boot microservices aligned with architectural best practices.
• Oversee integration efforts across APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
• Guide end‑to‑end development activities including testing, debugging, performance tuning, and CI/CD pipeline execution.
• Collaborate closely with UI, backend, and cross‑functional stakeholders to maintain seamless technical alignment.
• Manage technical implementations within AWS, Kubernetes, and containerized environments to support scalable deployments.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• 10–14 years of overall professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven capability in leading technical teams and managing end to end delivery across complex integrations.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $53.00 per hour
