Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX / Indianapolis, IN / Boston, MA / Seattle, WA / Portsmouth, NH
. Candidate must have strong expertise in .NET cloud development with proven capability in building AWS‑based microservices and CI/CD pipelines.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Designing and developing .NET/.NET Core enterprise applications aligned with cloud‑native architecture.
• Modernizing legacy .NET systems into AWS‑based containerized microservices using Docker and ECS Fargate.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Actions to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Implementing AWS infrastructure leveraging best practices and IaC automation through AWS CDK.
• Configuring monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting using Datadog for system observability.
• Collaborating with Agile teams to support product delivery, architecture documentation, and production deployments.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience required.
• Strong proficiency in .NET/.NET Core development with proven experience in AWS‑based microservices and containerized solutions.
• Solid capability in CI/CD pipeline development, AWS infrastructure implementation, and Datadog‑based observability.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
