We are seeking a Senior AWS Application Developer to design and build scalable, cloud-native applications within a highly dynamic AWS environment. This role is hands‑on and involves developing robust backend services, modern front‑end applications, and highly performant data solutions.

We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years.

This role is located at a client site at Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including product management, architecture, Dev Ops, and QA—to deliver secure, reliable, and high‑quality software solutions.

Bring deep expertise in Java and Python, strong experience with AWS services, and solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems.

Exposure to emerging technologies such as Generative AI and graph databases is a plus.

• 8+ years of backend development experience using Java (11+) and Python in enterprise environments
• Proven experience designing and building cloud-native applications on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, IAM, Cloud Watch)
• Hands‑on expertise with Amazon RDS (Postgre
  
  SQL/Aurora), including schema design, query tuning, and performance optimization
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event‑driven systems
• Front‑end development experience with Angular and modern Type Script practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Code Pipeline) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, or EKS)
• Strong testing mindset with exposure to unit, integration, and API testing frameworks
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, IAM policies, and data protection standards
• Ability to optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Comfortable working in Agile teams, participating in code reviews, and mentoring junior developers

• Experience with Generative AI on AWS (Bedrock, Claude Sonnet)
• Exposure to graph databases (Amazon Neptune, Gremlin/SPARQL)
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with observability tools like Open Telemetry, Datadog, or Cloud Watch
• Prior experience in financial services or mortgage domain

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
