We are looking for a hands-on Java Backend Developer to support a stable, enterprise-scale application environment within a structured delivery team.
This role can pay a maximum of $90,000
This is a highly process-driven, detail-oriented development role focused on maintaining, enhancing, and extracting data from complex backend systems. The work is repeatable and precision-based
, and suits someone who enjoys working in a consistent engineering environment rather than fast-moving product innovation or architecture design.
- Developing and maintaining Java Spring Boot backend services
- Writing and optimising SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and validation
- Supporting existing enterprise systems (enhancements, fixes, and small feature changes)
- Working within structured workflows and production support cycles
- Troubleshooting data issues across backend services and databases
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of system outputs
- Strong Java backend development experience (Spring Boot preferred)
- Confident, hands‑on ability with SQL (complex queries, joins, data extraction)
- Experience working with existing enterprise systems (not greenfield architecture)
- Comfortable with repetitive, structured development work
- Strong attention to detail and production stability mindset
- Ability to work onsite in Plano 3 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field (required)
- 3–7+ years Java development experience
- Solid SQL experience in production environments
- Experience in financial services, telecom, or enterprise regulated environments
- Production support or incident troubleshooting experience
This is not a software engineering/design authority role. It is a hands‑on Java development position focused on maintaining and improving existing systems with strong SQL/data interaction work
