  • Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Develops secure and high‑quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
  • Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
  • Serves as a function‑wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
  • Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firm‑wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influences peers and project decision‑makers to consider the use and application of leading‑edge technologies.
  • Adds to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of Java full‑stack development experience with 3+ years of proven track record of technical leadership.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Strong front‑end development skills in React and solid understanding of relational databases (Postgre

    SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Dev Ops practices, familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices, microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in AI‑assisted coding using tools such as Git Hub Copilot, or similar AI pair‑programming assistants and ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI‑generated code for quality, security, and performance.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills with the ability to craft effective prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate accurate, efficient, and secure code.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance team productivity.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands‑on technical work with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
