Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

3-5 years of experience in backend software development.

Strong hands-on experience with Python Stack for backend development, APIs, data ingestion, and data processing solutions.

Good experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and Spring Security.

Strong understanding of Java functional programming, multithreading, JVM concepts, and migration of Java applications to Python.

Hands-on experience working with Databricks and cloud-based data warehousing platforms.

Exposure to AI-assisted development, Agentic AI concepts, LLM integrations, or AI-based coding frameworks with governance and guardrails.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services primarily using Python Stack, with working knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Boot to support migration initiatives.

Build and maintain complex data pipelines, APIs, and integration layers connecting backend systems with Databricks.

Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OIDC, and Spring Security.

Develop backend frameworks, APIs, tools, and reusable "skills" that support Agentic AI and LLM-based autonomous workflows.

Optimize database operations, schema design, and data persistence layers using Python technologies while understanding existing Spring Data JPA/Hibernate implementations.

Support hybrid engineering efforts by converting and modernizing legacy Java applications into Python-based services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.

Manage CI/CD workflows using Git Hub Actions and related automation tools.
