Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Software Engineer - Java for a temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.
This is a 12-month contract. Pay range $65- $70 per hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking experienced software developers with a robust background in Java and Spring Framework. Proficiency in relational databases is essential, along with cloud experience, preferably AWS. You will play a key role in developing the next generation of Toyota Financial Services' core platform.
What You'll Be DoingYou will work on the new generation of Toyota Financial Services' core platform. Responsibilities include coding, unit testing, functional testing, and deployment to production.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Participate in scrum ceremonies
- Strong Java developer with 7+ years of experience
- Spring Framework experience for 5+ years
- Cloud experience, 2+ years AWS preferred
- Experience designing and building event-based microservices
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native apps, preferably on AWS
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design
- Strong design-pattern fundamentals
- Experience in financial services industry
- Experience working with SQL and No
SQL databases
