EDI Architect

Join our Information Technology team at Helen of Troy and make an immediate impact on our trusted brands by designing and implementing scalable EDI integration solutions.

• Provide architectural leadership and mentor developers while reviewing and contributing to integration development, mappings, and deployments.
• Define Boomi-based integration architecture, standards, and governance, translating them into reusable frameworks, templates, and core integration components.
• Design, develop, and deploy EDI integrations in Boomi, including EDI maps (X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, APIs).
• Lead the migration from legacy EDI platforms, redesigning target architecture and redeveloping integrations in Boomi.
• Partner with business and IT teams to prioritize initiatives and manage the integration backlog through architectural guidance and direct contribution.
• Design and implement secure integration solutions that embed data protection, compliance, and auditability.
• Define standardized onboarding frameworks, reusable templates, and integration patterns that accelerate future implementations.
• Design monitoring, logging, and reporting frameworks in Boomi to provide visibility into integration performance and transaction health.
• Lead complex issue resolution, debugging, root‑cause analysis, and implementation of fixes for integration processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in EDI.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing integrations using Boomi or a similar iPaaS platform, including hands‑on implementation in production.
• Experience leading end‑to‑end integration delivery (design, development, testing, deployment).
• Strong understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and protocols (AS2, FTP).
• Deep expertise in Boomi architecture and development.
• Hands‑on experience building, deploying, debugging, and optimizing integrations; implementing logging, monitoring, and error handling.
• Experience with legacy EDI platforms (Gentran, Cleo, SPS, B2
  
  Bi) and migration or redevelopment of integrations.
• Knowledge of data formats (XML, JSON) and scripting for advanced transformations.

• Experience with EDI integrations in Oracle ERP environments.
• Experience in large‑scale EDI platform modernization with hands‑on involvement.
• Knowledge of global trade compliance regulations.
• Boomi certification or equivalent integration certifications.

Hybrid schedule: remote two days and in‑office three days minimum. Available locations:

• Salary + Bonus (state‑specific base pay range $111,000‑$145,000 in Massachusetts).
