Java Backend Developer

Location:

Plano, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite) Rate: $85.89 + 10 % flex Duration:
Contract only till December 2024 (Open for Visa)

Java Backend role Must Have:
Java, Spring Boot, Orlace, S3, AWS. Building data Migration tool on Pentaho product. Data Migration including ETL. Building and Re-write connector in S3

Interview process: 1 Panel interview with coding challenge

Job Description:

• Proficient in Java J2EE application development skills as well as multiple design techniques
• Working proficiency in Java J2EE development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developing internal software for Database migration using a connector architecture supporting cross platform data migrations to facilitate on-prem to cloud DB migrations.

Additional

Skills:

• Good working knowledge with SQL is required.
• Experience in J2EE Application building Web Services using Spring/Spring Boot and Core Java/J2EE technologies is required.
• Experience in React JS Bootstrap is required.
• Knowledge of J2EE Application building Restful services using Spring MVC and Spring boot.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
• Understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development in Agile.
• Proficient using collections (maps, lists) and dynamic json marshalling and unmarshalling in java
• Comfortable with troubleshooting and connectivity with jdbc drivers for various products.
• Strong experience reading java docs
