Software Engineer III - Platform; Fullstack ReactJS, Java, Python, AWS

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑quality production code using modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript/Type Script, Node.js, Python), following SDLC and enterprise engineering standards.
• Build and maintain microservices and API‑driven architectures, developing and integrating RESTful APIs, and supporting event‑driven or real‑time use cases where appropriate.
• Produce and review architecture and design artifacts for complex systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and non‑functional requirements (security, performance, resiliency, scalability).
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented, and testable production code; actively participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Support platform stability through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous optimization.
• Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable  solutions and integrations.
• Implement operational best practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Participate in production support and on‑call rotations as required, driving improvements through post‑incident reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, SRE, and Platform teams within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

• Formal training or certification on system design concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• 5+ years' experience in React (including hooks, state management, and component architecture) and Python
• Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms, particularly  or similar workflow/project management tools
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Proven experience in full‑stack development, covering both front‑end and back‑end systems
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript/Type Script, Node.js, Python)
• Experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices
• Hands‑on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments
• Solid understanding of Agile practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices
• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Hub, Jenkins, Git Lab CI

• SCIM integration for Enterprise application access management
• Experience with Databricks integration for cloud applications
• Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms, particularly  or similar workflow/project management tools
• Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and production engineering practices
• Exposure to low‑code/no‑code platforms and enterprise workflow automation
• Experience working in large‑scale or regulated enterprise environments
• Deploy, manage, and operate applications in AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and container platforms
