Who We're Looking ForWe’re seeking a highly motivated Lead Software Engineer with extensive backend or full‑stack experience and a track record of principal‑level engineering. You will drive technical excellence, mentor a squad of engineers, and collaborate across business and technical stakeholders to shape scalable solutions.
What You'll Be Doing- Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in an agile environment.
- Lead the design and architecture of new and existing platform‑level features, focusing on reliability, scalability, and backup & restore.
- Collaborate with product and cross‑functional partner teams to align priorities and timelines.
- Communicate technical risks, trade‑offs, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Champion engineering excellence: code quality, testing strategies, observability, and deployment safety.
- Foster an inclusive culture that encourages ideas from all tech leads.
- Mentor internal talent and actively recruit to grow the engineering community.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+years of software engineering experience with a strong backend or full‑stack focus.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs (contract design, versioning, error handling).
- Deep expertise in AWS architecture, including serverless, containerized, and event‑driven solutions (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, MSK, S3, Cloud Front, Open Search).
- Experience with asynchronous patterns and message brokers such as Kafka.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment strategies.
- Experience building observable systems for performance tracking, tracing, and failure diagnosis.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Open Tofu.
- Experience with Bedrock Data Automation, AWS Textract, Transcribe, and other AI/ML services.
