We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect to provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and strategic direction for enterprise‑scale application development initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions leveraging Java Full Stack technologies, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Dev Ops practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern application architecture, cloud‑native development, CI/CD automation, and leading cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver complex technology solutions.

This is an onsite position which will require the candidate to be located in San Antonio, TX or Plano, TX.

Job Responsibilities

Define and design scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures using Spring Boot and Java Full Stack technologies.
Lead end‑to‑end solution design and implementation for enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
Drive adoption of Dev Ops methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure best practices.
Architect and develop microservices‑based applications and APIs to support business‑critical systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Review application designs, code quality, security standards, and performance metrics to ensure adherence to best practices.
Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and decision‑making processes across projects.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement performance optimization strategies.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance application scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
Support cloud‑native and containerized deployments using modern Dev Ops and orchestration platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development, application architecture, or enterprise solution design.
Extensive hands‑on experience with Java Full Stack development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
Proven experience implementing and managing Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and distributed system architecture.
Strong understanding of database technologies including SQL and No

Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, enterprise‑scale technical solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with application security, performance tuning, and observability tools.
Experience with event‑driven architecture and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, Dev Ops, Cloud Platforms, or Solution Architecture.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Prior experience leading large‑scale digital transformation or modernization initiatives.
