About the role
As a Senior Out Systems Developer, you will make an impact by driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable, AI‑powered applications leveraging GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering and AI Solutions team and work collaboratively with enterprise architects, AI specialists, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, enterprise‑scale solutions.
In this role, you will:- Define and own the technical roadmap for Agentic AI‑enabled Out Systems solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and implement agentic solution architectures, including reasoning frameworks, orchestration layers, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Oversee the full AI agent lifecycle, from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
- Lead development of complex applications on the Out Systems platform, integrating GenAI capabilities and modern APIs.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives and large‑scale AI transformation initiatives.
- 8+ years of application development experience with strong expertise in Out Systems platform development.
- Hands‑on experience with GenAI and Agentic AI concepts, including orchestration, reasoning design, and AI lifecycle management.
- Proven experience defining scalable and reliable solution architectures for enterprise applications.
- Out Systems Expert Developer certification (mandatory).
- Out Systems Specialist certifications (mandatory depending on domain specialization).
- Experience working on large‑scale AI orchestration platforms and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud‑native architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, monitoring tools, and AI performance optimization.
- Experience integrating APIs, microservices, and enterprise middleware solutions.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in complex enterprise environments.
Work model: client based in Plano, TX

Salary and Other Compensation:This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
