Senior Software Development Engineer – TFS, Plano, TX
We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who brings deep technical expertise, a sense of ownership, and a track record of driving meaningful outcomes. The role is based in Plano, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement complex architecture in collaboration with enterprise architects, contributing actively to development efforts.
- Work with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities.
- Bring structure to ambiguous requirements through sound engineering judgment and initiative.
- Own critical components, driving performance, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate team standards through code reviews and technical leadership.
- Uphold best practices in testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring quality and scalability.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience in software development with a solid technical foundation, including Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST API, real‑time streaming architectures, and microservices patterns.
- Proven experience delivering cloud‑native applications on AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and event‑driven architecture in real‑world systems.
- Solid background in microservices and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions), version control, and Dev Ops tooling.

SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Document DB. - Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud Watch.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across architecture, engineering, and product teams.
- Experience working in Fin Tech or other highly regulated, enterprise‑scale environments.
