Software Developer, SQL Developer, Software Engineer

Ascentt Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Software Developer based in Plano, TX. Job duties include:
Responsible for enterprise performance management and business intelligence applications Implementations, and software application design, development and integration;
Responsible to focus on customized Self Service Analytics platforms for the users to create their own visualizations;
Implement the best practice for BI and data science Applications. Understanding functional design and create technology Architectures to facilitate implementation and assist the application support teams in analyzing and implementing Application enhancements;
Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation;
Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status;
Designing, developing and deployment of customized software applications and information technology solutions and packages meeting client specifications and requirements;
Adhering to application development life cycle process, practices, and procedures;
Understanding, Reviewing, repairing, and modifying software programs to ensure technical accuracy and reliability of programs;
Administering and maintaining production systems running on multiple environments. Experience in Python, R, SQL, OracleSQL, PLSQL & PySpark. Requires 50% national travel.

Position requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience in a related field. Position requires experience in Python, R, SQL, OracleSQL, PLSQL & PySpark.
