As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of an agile team that builds and delivers trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for delivering critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Jobresponsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to probe architectural designs and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new technologies
- Contributes to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile)
- Knowledge of customization of objects, fields, record types, profiles, permission sets, page layouts, dynamic forms, validation rules, flows, approval processes, list views, reports, and dashboards
- Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC, and OMNI Channel
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Agentforce and/or external LLM integrations with Salesforce
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Programming and Administration concepts (e.g., Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Apex, Flows, Async Apex, Custom Metadata, Triggers, SOQL, and Assignment rules)
- Knowledge of Salesforce APIs (REST API, BULK API) and integration capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
- Advanced in one or more programming languages
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Architect certifications
- Practical cloud-native experience
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge
- Working knowledge of Bitbucket and JIRA
