CGI is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, cloud based applications in a highly collaborative Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, event driven solutions using AWS services while contributing across the full software development lifecycle. This role requires hands on development with Java, Python, and Angular, along with strong Dev Ops practices utilizing tools such as Git Lab and Terraform.

The successful candidate will also support system integration testing through automation frameworks, collaborate closely with cross functional teams, and help deliver resilient, high quality solutions that meet business and technical objectives.

We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years! This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

This role requires hands on development with Java, Python, and Angular, along with strong Dev Ops practices utilizing tools such as Git Lab and Terraform.

The successful candidate will also support system integration testing through automation frameworks, collaborate closely with cross functional teams, and help deliver resilient, high-quality solutions that meet business and technical objectives.

• 2+ years of full stack software development experience
• Strong full stack development experience using Java, Python, and Angular
• Experience designing and developing event driven applications leveraging AWS services such as SNS, SQS, and AWS compute platforms
• Solid understanding of Dev Ops practices and hands on experience with Git Lab, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform
• Experience building and supporting scalable, resilient distributed systems
• Knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT) automation using Cucumber and other BDD testing frameworks
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in Agile development teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
