People Soft FSCM Technical Lead & AI Modernization Architect

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced People Soft FSCM Technical Lead & AI Modernization Architect to lead the development, support, modernization, and strategic evolution of our People Soft Financials & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) platform. This role combines deep People Soft technical leadership with functional expertise, enterprise architecture, and AI-driven innovation to optimize business processes and modernize enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale People Soft solutions, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing automation technologies that improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery

* Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of People Soft FSCM applications and related technologies.

* Serve as the technical lead for enterprise People Soft initiatives, enhancements, upgrades, and modernization projects.

* Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and deliver scalable technical solutions.

* Review business processes and recommend technology improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Production Support & Operations

* Lead production support activities, ensuring application stability, performance, and service reliability.

* Manage incident resolution, problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvements.

* Support daily operations, financial batch processing, and critical business activities.

* Coordinate support efforts across business, IT, vendor, and offshore teams.

Development, Integrations & Upgrades

* Design and develop People Soft customizations, integrations, reports, workflows, and extensions.

* Lead People Tools and PUM upgrades, retrofit analysis, testing, and production deployments.

* Develop functional and technical specifications for new solutions and enhancements.

* Architect integrations between People Soft and enterprise applications using web services and APIs.

AI & Enterprise Modernization

* Identify opportunities to modernize the People Soft platform using AI and intelligent automation.

* Design and implement AI agents, automated workflows, and intelligent reporting solutions.

* Evaluate emerging technologies that improve productivity, reporting, testing, and operational support.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

* Lead and mentor technical teams across onshore and offshore environments.

* Assign work, review deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

* Facilitate design sessions, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews.

* Deliver knowledge transfer, documentation, and end-user training as needed.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

* 10+ years of experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing People Soft Financials & Supply Chain Management (FSCM).

* Strong functional expertise across:

* General Ledger (GL)

* Accounts Payable (AP)

* Accounts Receivable (AR)

* Purchasing

* Billing

* Asset Management

* Project Costing

* Hands-on technical experience with:

* People Code

* Application Engine

* Component Interface

* Integration Broker/Web Services

* SQR

* BI Publisher

* nVision

* Oracle SQL

* Experience leading People Tools and PUM upgrades, retrofit analysis, testing, and production deployments.

* Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations with external applications.

* Experience leading production support teams and IT Service Management processes.

* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience leading large-scale People Soft implementation, upgrade, or modernization programs.

* Experience managing onshore and offshore development and support teams.

* Experience configuring People Soft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).

* Experience with Service Now, Phire, or similar IT service and change management platforms.

* Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications using AI, automation, or cloud technologies.

* Experience designing AI agents, generative AI solutions, or intelligent automation for enterprise systems.

* Knowledge of Oracle Cloud migration strategies and enterprise application modernization.
