Application Programmer

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Treasury and Strategic Forecasting Technology (TSFT) supporting the technology solutions and operations for the office of Treasurer. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully in the organization.

Plano, TX

• Design and develop components and frameworks in Java following development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and technology partners to derive scalable solutions.
• Perform detailed technical impact analysis and drive strategic solutions.
• Proactively conduct robust testing on developed components in line with Agile principles.
• Provide Level 3 support as needed to ensure application health and performance.

• Hands-on experience with Java, SOAP/RESTful services, and knowledge of Design Patterns, multi-threading, and JPA.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and various Spring modules.
• Knowledge of caching technologies (ignite caching preferred but not mandatory).
• Good understanding of Dev Ops tools such as Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Ansible, and Open Shift.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and Unix shell scripting.
