- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot
. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop highly available and resilient applications following enterprise engineering best practices.
- Work with AWS/cloud technologies to develop, deploy, and modernize applications.
- Design and optimize database solutions using SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other developers.
- Troubleshoot application performance, production issues, and integration problems.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
. - Work with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, Architecture, QA, and Operations.
- Contribute to application modernization efforts, including migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud‑native architectures.
- Follow secure coding practices and enterprise security standards appropriate for financial services applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE
. - Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
. - Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
. - Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
. - Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito
. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
. - Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event‑streaming technologies
. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, or AWS Code Pipeline
. - Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or other enterprise databases
. - Experience with Terraform or infrastructure‑as‑code
. - Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments
. - Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, API security, and secure software development practices
. - Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud‑native microservices
