Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Plano, TX.
Schedule:
Fully on-site, Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
Skills:
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team.
- Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions.
- Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria.
- Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle — design, develop, test, release, and maintenance.
- Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Excellent time-management and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Plus experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, Test Rail, or similar)
- 0–3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing
