Application Programmer III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Credit Risk Applications and Data Platforms support team. Job Title: Application Programmer

• Support quality engineering efforts for Credit Risk applications and data platforms.
• Perform functional testing, automation testing, and data validation activities.
• Investigate defects and support application enhancements and regulatory initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business users, developers, and data engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, testing, and documentation processes.

• Strong experience in data-centric projects, including data flow analysis, profiling, ETL, and Big Data testing.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting data quality issues.
• Understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and data quality controls.
• Experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Git Hub Copilot or GenAI-based testing solutions.
