Senior Full-Stack Engineer; Laravel, React

We are an established media and publishing organization building and operating our own software platform, with independent Laravel and React applications plugged into a unified dashboard that supports advertising, CRM, and publishing operations. We are bringing several products to market as a commercial multi-tenant SaaS suite, and this role sits at the center of that transition. Our team is small but technically broad, which gives us high ownership, direct access to decision makers, and very little bureaucracy.

The engagement starts as a 90-day contract at approximately 30 hours per week during Central Time business hours, with conversion to full-time based on performance. We offer a hybrid remote setup in Plano, TX, along with health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, remote flexibility, and a compensation range of $50.00 to $80.00 per hour.

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
• Strong PHP expertise and modern Laravel experience, including Eloquent, migrations, queues, scheduling, and testing
• Strong Type Script and React skills with modern tooling such as Vite and Tailwind CSS
• Hands-on multi-tenant SaaS experience, including clear methods for enforcing tenant data isolation
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge, relational data modeling ability, and REST API design experience
• Strong automated testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with Docker and containerized local and production environments
• Fluency with Git, branching workflows, code review, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to take a feature from problem definition to production with minimal guidance
• Practical AI/ML experience preferred, including LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases such as pgvector, RAG, or reranking in production
• Experience retrofitting multi-tenancy into an existing single-tenant application preferred
• Experience with micro-frontends, Module Federation, or similar plugin and module architectures preferred
• Third-party integration experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Graph APIs preferred
• OAuth2 and token-based authentication experience, including Laravel Passport or Sanctum, plus RBAC permission systems preferred
• Experience building a product from greenfield through first paying customers preferred
• Experience with email, newsletter, and ESP delivery systems a plus
• Association management and membership platform integration experience a plus
• AWS experience with S3, EC2, or Lambda, and Python experience for data, serverless, or AI tasks a plus
• SaaS billing, subscription, and per-tenant provisioning experience a plus
• Ad-tech exposure, including tracking, attribution, and reporting rollups, a plus
• Experience with Nginx, Redis, and infrastructure-as-configuration a plus

• Design multi-tenant data models and enforce tenant isolation across every data path
• Build full-stack features across Laravel/PHP services and React/Type Script frontends
• Design and evolve PostgreSQL schemas and create migrations that are safe for live data
• Build and consume REST APIs, queued jobs, and scheduled tasks
• Design, develop, and refine AI-powered features such as semantic search, reranking, and LLM tooling
• Integrate third-party systems including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, email service providers, and Microsoft 365 services
• Maintain cross-service authentication using OAuth2 token-based access and role-based permission controls
• Work within a micro-frontend architecture that combines independent apps into a unified dashboard, while maintaining shared contracts and consistency
• Own end-to-end quality through unit, feature, and end-to-end tests using PHPUnit, Vitest, and Playwright
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based environments, and post-deployment verification
