As a Shipping Supervisor at Krypton Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the shipping department operations and ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will coordinate with various teams to manage inventory levels, schedule shipments, and allocate resources effectively. Monitoring the performance of shipping staff will be crucial, as you will provide guidance and training to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate shipping records and documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you'll analyze shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies that enhance overall efficiency.

• Supervise shipping team members to ensure conformance to company procedures.
• Effectively motivate shipping team members.
• Count, measure, and/or weigh product to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading or invoices for shipping.
• Examine articles for defects and sort articles according to extent of defect.
• Attach identification data to parts/components and record data for nonconforming material to be returned to suppliers.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Perform basic data entry relevant to shipping.

• 2+ years' experience working in shipping.
