We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our fast-paced, dynamic team supporting a leading biotechnology client.
Title: Logistics Specialist
Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position OverviewIn this role, you will manage and oversee all logistics and transportation operations at our Plano, TX facility, ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of materials while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipping activities at the Plano, TX site, providing support to Warehouse and Shipping staff.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years of logistics experience, preferably in a regulated or biotechnology environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping and international logistics preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
