Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support financial operations for a growing organization in Plant City, Florida. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate records, and keep multiple business lines organized.

The right candidate will be comfortable working in Quick Books, handling a steady flow of invoices and purchase orders, and ensuring financial information is complete and up to date.

Responsibilities:

- Record financial transactions with accuracy and maintain organized bookkeeping data across multiple areas of the business

- Prepare customer invoices, process vendor bills, and support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activity

- Review and reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure balances are accurate and current

- Compile and maintain contract-related documentation so billing and accounting records remain complete and accessible

- Manage purchase orders and track invoice volume of approximately 10 to 15 entries each day

- Support accounting processes for four distinct business lines while keeping records properly separated and aligned

- Use Quick Books and construction management software to process transactions and maintain reporting consistency Requirements - Hands-on experience performing full charge bookkeeping in a fast-paced business environment

- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books for daily accounting and financial record management

- Experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities

- Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and on schedule

- Comfortable processing invoices, purchase orders, and detailed financial data entry

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage accounting tasks across multiple business lines

- Construction industry experience is preferred and would be considered a strong advantage
