Production Welder

Location: Plant City, FL
Pay: $17–$19 per hour
Job type: Temp-to-hire

We’re hiring an experienced Production MIG Welder to weld, fabricate, and refurbish metal equipment. The right candidate can read blueprints, measure accurately, and work safely in a hands-on production environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld, tack, and fabricate products using blueprints as a guide.
• Perform flat and vertical-down welds using .045 hard wire.
• Grind and prepare units for welding.
• Cut, grind, weld, and replace rusted or damaged steel on used equipment.
• Help handle materials when shipments arrive.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain equipment.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of welding experience.
• Welding training through a prior employer, school, or welding certificate.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Personal welding gear and PPE.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
