Our Plant City, FL location is part of our beverage division and produces flavors and ingredients. This close knit team specializes in distillation and flavor products for our Kerry customers and brands. We are producing dried crystals from fruits such as honey, mango and pineapple. Kerry's continuous-belt, vacuum technology, unique in the industry, is a very gentle, low-heat drying technology. The process carefully removes water from juice and puree without affecting important characteristics such as nutrients, flavor, or color.
WhatYou'll Do
As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in the support of food manufacturing operations by operating dehydration equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Core responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor equipment (pumps, mixers, valves, dehydration systems)
- Mix batches accurately and perform product testing
- Follow SOPs, GMPs, and all safety and quality procedures
- Clean and sanitize equipment per specifications
- Complete production records, logs, and ERP transactions
- Monitor quality checkpoints and document results
- Assist with packaging and other production needs
- Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement efforts
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of food manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (ERP, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to perform basic math and use measurement equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for up to 12 hours and work in an environment where the temperature varies.
- Must follow all safety, GMP, sanitation, and environmental policies
- Ability to work overnight shift and adjust schedule as needed
The pay rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00 per hour. This job posting is anticipated to expire on August 3, 2026. Shift Hours 200PM-1030PM, Monday-Friday, with Overtime Available.
