Position: Forklift Operator I
Job Summary

Our client, a leading international food distribution company, is hiring a High Reach Truck Operator for a long-term contract assignment at their Plant City, FL facility. The position is 40 hours per week with an estimated total of 800 hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Raymond Reach Lifts and Crown RC/High Reach Trucks to move, stage, and store inventory.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Work safely in temperature-controlled environments, including freezer rooms with temperatures down to 0 degrees (freeze suits provided; personal cold-weather apparel wOur Companyome).
- Lift and handle product weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards while following all safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 6 months of reach truck operation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Raymond Reach Lifts and Crown RC/High Reach Trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (must be stated on resume or job seeker profile).
- Willingness to work in freezer environments down to 0 degrees.
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a high-volume distribution or cold-storage warehouse.
- Current forklift certification.

About the Role

Location:

Plant City, FL (on-site; no travel required).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM until finish (typically 3:00-4:00 PM).
Overtime:
Required as needed, typically 5 to 10 hours per week.
Contract Duration:
Approximately 800 total hours (roughly 20 weeks at 40 hours per week).
Compensation:
Competitive rate.
