We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of a project’s development, coordinating people, processes, and resources to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and has a proven track record as a successful Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Support project managers in tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
- Review drawings, reports, and documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks before client or agency submissions.
- Maintain version control of project files and ensure documentation consistency.
- Prepare meeting notes, status updates, and project reports.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve project issues.
- Assist in managing permitting and submittal documentation.
- Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. - Experience:
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in utilities, gas, telecom, or civil design. - Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Bonus Points For:
- Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and agency submittals.
- Previous work on gas utility or telecom design projects.
