Job Title: Industrial Chemist (2nd Shift)
Location: Davie, FL Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Industrial Chemist to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for performing chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various substances using analytical techniques
  • Perform routine chemical analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in compliance with GMP standards
  • Follow pre-established protocols and SOPs to carry out lab functions accurately
  • Audit raw data, results, and laboratory documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Calculate, interpret, and review test results; prepare reports and maintain detailed lab notebooks
  • Conduct Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations per SOPs to ensure data integrity
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory instruments in assigned areas
  • Assist with method development and protocol execution with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or analytical lab setting
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, and IR
  • Solid understanding of GMP regulations and quality systems
