The Leisure Sales Wholesale Account Manager is responsible for driving incremental leisure revenue through strategic management of wholesale tour operators and travel distribution partners. This role supports the Director of Leisure Sales, Wholesale, and develops and executes account strategies that maximize production, optimize channel performance, and position Atlantis as a preferred resort within key wholesale and packaging programs.
Serving as a critical link between Atlantis and its global distribution partners, the Account Manager ensures strong visibility, competitive positioning, and seamless execution across the wholesale segment.
Key Responsibilities Wholesale Account Management- Manage a portfolio of domestic and international wholesale partners, including tour operators, bedbanks, and packaging companies
- Maintain strong relationships with key account contacts, contracting teams, and product managers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related communication and support
- Drive incremental room night production and revenue through wholesale channels
- Identify opportunities to grow share within existing accounts and expand into new partners
- Analyze production trends, pacing, and market demand to adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure alignment of wholesale rates with overall pricing and distribution strategy
- Support annual contracting process, including rate loading, offers, and inventory allocation
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to maintain rate integrity and optimize profitability
- Monitor parity, margins, and promotional effectiveness across wholesale channels
- Shop competition and report findings to the executive team
- Work with partners to develop and execute co-op marketing campaigns and promotions
- Ensure Atlantis is accurately represented across partner websites, brochures, and booking platforms
- Promote key offers, packages, and seasonal campaigns to drive conversion
- Deliver product training, webinars, and updates to wholesale partners and reservation teams
- Coordinate and host FAM trips, site inspections, and on-property experiences
- Provide ongoing education on Atlantis’ value proposition, differentiators, and guest experience
- Conduct client visits and sales calls
- Partner with Revenue Management, Distribution, and Reservations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Coordinate with Marketing on campaign alignment and asset delivery
- Provide regular reporting on account performance, ROI, and market insights
- 3–5+ years of experience in hospitality sales, wholesale travel, or tour operator account management
- Strong understanding of wholesale distribution channels (tour operators, bedbanks, dynamic packaging)
- Experience with contracting, rate loading, and channel management
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and drive revenue growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
