** Plantation, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and store teams, and communicate concerns to leadership and local partners. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in line with AU Driver Policy requirements.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail mall environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor entrances, tenant areas, and high-traffic zones for suspicious activity, loitering, and/or prohibited behavior, and document observations per post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with dispute de-escalation and coordinating with mall management and/or local emergency services as needed.

+ Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate significant activity to site leadership, and support access control and crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
