Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited school of nursing
- One to two years’ experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred
- Must have current and valid Registered Nurse License from the State of Wisconsin
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Accurate knowledge of endoscopic/surgical instruments and techniques and knowledge of endoscopic equipment such as the cystoscope and colposcope
- Basic proficiency in word processing and Excel programs; software proficiency covering a variety of health care / clinical record applications
- We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) RN to work four days per week from 7:30am-5:00pm to work in the Family Medicine and Specialty clinics.
Administers nursing care to designated out-patients in a clinic setting in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and supervision of a licensed physician, physician’s assistant, and/or nurse practitioner. Performs a variety of direct patient care duties in compliance with physicians’ orders and appropriate protocol. Performs a variety of indirect patient care duties under the supervision of the Clinic Manager. Reviews and prepares clinical records prior to clinic dates to ensure referring physicians’ notes and corresponding reports are available for the reference by the specialist.
