Under general supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.
May provide training to less experienced Receivers.
Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
Records factors causing goods to be returned.
Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
