Assistant College Registrar

The Office of the Registrar seeks a detail oriented and tech savvy individual to join their dynamic staff. This full-time, 12-month position will perform various registrar functions, including but not limited to: assisting with course schedule production and training department personnel; processing student requests for registration at other campuses; maintaining accurate information in the master course files; overseeing external student and degree reporting, processing bulk registrations and overrides;

assisting deans, chairs, and administrative assistants with registration related activities; assisting with maintaining codes for Institutional Effectiveness; responding to event requests using classroom spaces; supervising designated support staff, and maintaining current standard operating procedure documents for the office.

The Academic Affairs division administratively builds our college commitment to student success through the curriculum and the classroom, excellent teaching and staff support, and scholarly research. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, 3 years experience working in higher education, strong computer proficiency (MS Office Suite and G Suite), and the ability to quickly learn and assimilate new systems and information. Skilled at managing multiple priorities, resolving complex issues, and working effectively in fast-paced environments. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively while building positive relationships across departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate workflows and identify inefficiencies.

Trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Excellent attention to detail and exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with both internal and external constituents at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a college registrar's office. Familiarity with the following software:
Ellucian Banner Student Information System, EMSroom scheduling software, Envisions Argos reporting software, Degree Works degree audit software. Familiar with record retention policies; data privacy policies and procedures (FERPA); federal, state, and regulatory requirements; academic policies and procedures. Experience delivering presentations or training in a professional environment.

Salary: $60,000 minimum, plus excellent benefits.
