Facilities, Maintenance & Operations Coordinator
Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, two-way radio, and in-person interactions. Support Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations by processing and dispatching work requests in AiM Work Management, maintaining records and office resources, preparing reports and spreadsheets, coordinating communication between campus stakeholders and maintenance staff, and assisting with special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications-Must be eligible for permanent appointment to this title pursuant to civil service law.
-A demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with a variety of individuals.
-Effective communication skills, written and verbal.

This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, this title may be filled via a non-competitive appointment, which means no examination is required but all candidates must meet the minimum qualifications of the title for which they apply.

This position supports the Facilities, Maintenance & Operations department by coordinating, processing, and dispatching work order requests accurately and promptly. The department provides campus-wide planning, construction, maintenance, and facility improvement services to support the University's operations and educational mission. As part of the Administration and Finance Division, the position contributes to delivering essential services through effective communication, customer service, and coordination of resources.
The expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.
