About The Position:
As part of a dynamic Office of Undergraduate Admissions team, this position plays a key role in recruiting, converting, and enrolling academically qualified undergraduate students at SUNY Plattsburgh. The successful candidate will contribute to a comprehensive enrollment strategy through a combination of recruitment, outreach, and application review activities. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing undergraduate applications for admission;

representing the university through recruitment travel and college fairs; responding to prospective students and families via phone, email, and other communication channels; developing and delivering engaging presentations; conducting individual appointments in both in-person and virtual formats; and providing personalized outreach to prospective students throughout the enrollment process. This full-time position has a 12-month obligation. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree Effective communication skills: oral, written and interpersonal Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures Valid driver's license at the time of appointment Ability and willingness to travel throughout New York and contiguous states Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds Ability and willingness to perform evening and weekend work Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated experience working effectively and collegially with colleagues Ability to master knowledge of programs/services available to college students Ability to effectively develop and deliver presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education Familiarity with Banner software;
Technolutions SlateCRM(or otherCRMsoftware) Experience with public speaking Experience working collaboratively in team environments Experience working in higher education and/or secondary education Experience processing computer data Experience formatting and generating reports Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues Knowledge of SUNY Plattsburgh and the surrounding region

Salary (Applicant View) - $54,090 minimum, plus excellent benefits
