Associate Director of Annual Giving

We are seeking an Associate Director of Annual Giving. Reporting directly to the Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director will lead the execution of annual giving campaigns, oversee the University's direct mail program, develop strategic fundraising communications, and manage faculty, staff, and student giving initiatives. This position plays a key role in engaging donors, increasing philanthropic participation, strengthening the annual giving pipeline, and advancing the University's fundraising priorities.

The Associate Director will collaborate with colleagues across campus to develop compelling donor communications, coordinate campaigns and events, evaluate fundraising results, and identify opportunities to improve participation and revenue. The position will also build strong campus partnerships and represent Institutional Advancement at key University events, including Homecoming/Family Weekend, President's Welcome, Matriculation, and Commencement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years minimum of work experience in a professional setting including a track record of increased responsibility and success. Commitment to public higher education and ensuring students have access and support to achieve their degree. Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication. Demonstrated technological proficiency and adaptability, with the ability to effectively navigate digital platforms, templates and computer applications.

A valid driver's license. Willingness and ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with alumni, donors, faculty, staff, administrators and students. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in higher education and/or a nonprofit organization. Professional experience in alumni relations and/or fundraising. Experience with campaigns. Experience with Banner Ellucian or other databases.

Salary: $62,000 minimum, plus excellent benefits.
