Facility & Unit

• Facility:
  Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital
• Unit/Department: PCU Unit

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Hours/Week: 36
• Contract Length: 28 weeks
• Weekends:
  Every other weekend / holiday rotation
• Call:
  None

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN license in New York
• Minimum 1 year Clinical experience required
• Minimum 1 year Clinical experience in specialty required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIHSS required prior to start
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience required
• Traveler must have own vehicle

Compliance & Submission

• NY Temporary Health Care Service Agency License required at submission
• 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• RTO must be submitted at upload (max 5 days)
• Non-billable orientation: 1 - 2 days
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 28-week contract with 2-hour notice

Dress Code

• Scrubs color: navy blue or white
• Shoes: closed toe nonskid
• Jewelry: minimal
• Hair/Beard: groomed, professional hair. No beard
• Nail Polish: no artificial
