Pay: $35.70/hour (Union - non-negotiable, increase to $36.77 in August)
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 rotating schedule
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to join a growing packaging manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems to support continuous production in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems as needed
- Bend, run, and install conduit in an industrial setting
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO procedures
- Document maintenance activities and support continuous improvement efforts
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), VFDs, and motors
- Ability to use a multimeter and work with high-voltage equipment safely
- Experience bending and installing conduit
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
- Must have own tools
