* Job Description:
** - Are you ready to elevate your nursing career? Join our dynamic PCU team where you will play a vital role in patient care!
- ** Position Highlights:** - Float Team Assignment - Minimum of every other weekend required - Schedule adjustments to meet unit and patient care needs
- ** Requirements:** - Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year tele experience - Proficient in managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization - Epic experience from within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) - Valid NY nursing license on file
- ** Additional Information:** - Monday to Sunday shifts available - No block scheduling; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained - Complete work history information required for submission
- ** Transportation

** - Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is essential - Personal or rental vehicles recommended; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires (November – April)

- ** Patient Population:** - Diverse diagnoses including Acute Coronary Syndrome, Heart Failure, and ETOH withdrawal - Specialized procedures and protocols for closer monitoring
- ** Dress Code:** - Navy blue or white scrubs - Closed-toe nonskid shoes - Minimal jewelry; professional grooming standards
- ** Orientation:** - 1 - 2 days of orientation to familiarize you with unit-specific protocols
