Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with various cardiac conditions requiring close observation and advanced monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients with acute coronary syndrome and cardiac diagnoses.
• Administer intravenous medication drips, including insulin and cardiac drips.
• Provide care to patients post-procedures such as cardiac catheterization.
• Assist with advanced monitoring for patients in hemodynamic instability and requiring telemetry.
• Manage airway for ETOH withdrawal patients; assess and support patients requiring bipap/cpap.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and ensure accurate patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• 1 year of experience in a telemetry or progressive care setting is required.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Epic experience within the last two years is a non-negotiable requirement.
