Home Infusion Registered Nurse

As a Home Infusion Registered Nurse at CVS Health, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion care in the comfort of patients' homes. You will administer IV medications and biologics, perform detailed assessments, monitor responses to therapy, and manage infusion equipment and supplies. In this autonomous, field-based role, you'll educate patients and caregivers on treatments, reinforce infection control, and coordinate with pharmacists and prescribers to optimize outcomes.

You'll document care in electronic health records and uphold CVS Health's standards for safety, compassion, and clinical excellence while supporting patients on their path to better health.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV and infusion therapies safely in patients' homes
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient response to treatment
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication, equipment, and home infusion procedures
• Coordinate care plans with pharmacists, physicians, and CVS Health care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Monitor for and respond to infusion-related adverse events or complications
• Reinforce infection control and safety protocols in the home setting
• Manage supplies, equipment, and medication handling per policy
• Communicate clinical updates and escalate concerns as needed
• Support CVS Health's standards for quality, safety, and patient experience
