Aksarben Heating, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, and related systems in Omaha-area homes. You'll perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot comfort and safety issues, recommend solutions, and complete accurate service documentation. This role requires safe work practices, strong customer communication, and professional in-home conduct. Work includes driving to local job sites, using trade tools and test instruments, collaborating with dispatch and office staff, and supporting a customer-focused, team-oriented service culture.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, air conditioners, and HVAC components
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and system tune-ups
- Troubleshoot comfort, performance, and safety issues using meters and test instruments
- Explain findings, options, and recommendations to homeowners in clear, respectful terms
- Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets
- Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards on every job
- Operate and maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to manage schedules and customer needs
- Install minor HVAC components, accessories, and replacement parts as needed
- Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and the community
Required Skills
