• Completing detailed wound and skin assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Monitoring wound progress and ensuring accurate documentation
• Performing treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes
• Educating nursing staff on wound prevention and infection control
• Supporting survey readiness and regulatory compliance

• Current R.N. license by State required with experience in the long term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.
• Clerical ability is necessary to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes.
• Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents.
• Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• WCC certification preferred but not require.
