Landscape Construction Laborer

Job Title: Landscape Construction Laborers Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Construction Laborers to join our team. Successful candidates will assist in the construction and installation of landscaping projects, including hardscapes, softscapes, and site preparation. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that requires stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of patios, retaining walls, walkways, fences, decks, and other hardscape features
• Grade and prepare soil for planting, sod installation, or seeding
• Operate small machinery and hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and compactors
• Load and unload materials including soil, stone, mulch, and construction supplies
• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors or landscape designers
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Support irrigation and drainage system installation
• Lay sod, plant trees/shrubs, and perform basic landscaping tasks as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in landscaping or construction preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team
• Valid driver’s license is a plus
• Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious

• Outdoor construction sites
• Exposure to weather elements (sun, rain, cold, heat)
• Use of power tools and heavy equipment (training provided if needed); experience preferred

• Starting wage depends on experience
