Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of travel demand models for transportation projects.
- Experience with microsimulation and other traffic analysis techniques is a plus, but not required.
- Serve as a technical authority on travel modeling methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and planners to integrate modeling into project delivery.
- Manage modeling tasks, schedules, and deliverables from project initiation through completion.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and agencies.
- Review and ensure quality of modeling work through established QA/QC processes.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, supporting technical growth and career progression.
- 12+ years of experience in traffic and transportation modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or related field from an accredited program, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in travel demand modeling.
- Proficiency with at least one travel demand modeling tool such as Cube, Trans
CAD, and/or Trans Modeler. - Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering complex transportation projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
