Marketing Ops & AI Automation Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically minded Marketing Ops & AI Automation Specialist to support the scalability, efficiency, and performance of COURSER's marketing organization. This role will focus on marketing operations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows that power demand generation, pipeline visibility, and revenue alignment across COURSER's portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate brings experience in marketing operations and automation platforms, a strong understanding of data flow and process design, and curiosity for applying AI to optimize marketing performance and scale.

This function serves as the interface for localized marketing support across all geographies, working closely with Regional VPs, Geo Leaders, and RSDs to ensure marketing execution aligns with local market needs.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Automation Platform Management
  • Own Hub Spot Marketing Hub administration including workflows, sequences, and automation rules
  • Build and maintain automated workflows for lead nurturing, scoring, and lifecycle management
  • Develop and optimize lead scoring models aligned with Total Customer Profile (TCP)
  • Automate MQL creation and BDR routing to ensure timely lead follow-up
  • Ensure email deliverability and sending reputation through best practices
AI & Workflow Automation Oversight
  • Define requirements and use cases for AI-powered marketing automation
  • Manage automation agency relationships for workflow development and maintenance
  • Oversee content automation pipelines for lead magnets, newsletters, and blog posts
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation from agency partners to internal team
  • Evaluate and prioritize automation opportunities based on ROI and scalability
Vendor & Platform Management
  • Manage Sendoso platform for direct mail campaigns (postcards, gifts, Amazon mailers)
  • Control user access and campaign budgets for marketing technology platforms
  • Coordinate with Hub Joy for Hub Spot expertise, migrations, and one-off requests
  • Oversee automation agency relationships for lead magnets and content automation
  • Evaluate and implement text messaging capabilities for prospect engagement
Data Integration & Quality
  • Ensure seamless data flow between Hub Spot, Connect Wise, and related systems
  • Oversee Hub Spot migration quality control for new geographic acquisitions
  • Maintain data hygiene standards and resolve integration issues
  • Ensure accurate marketing attribution and reporting across all channels
Localized Marketing Support
  • Serve as interface for localized marketing requests from Geo Leaders and RSDs
  • Triage and prioritize geo-specific marketing support requests
  • Coordinate outsourcing of localized activities as needed
  • Support voice of customer surveys and client communication automation
Direct Reports
  • Events & Association Coordinator ‑ Manages local event logistics, association relationships, and PR firm coordination (part‑time)
  • Marketing Data & Onboarding Coordinator ‑ Supports KPI reporting, 515 reports, new geo Hub Spot onboarding, and data quality maintenance
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, automation, or related roles
  • Hands‑on experience with Hub Spot Marketing Hub (workflows, lead scoring, reporting)
  • Experience managing automation projects and agency relationships
  • Strong understanding of lead scoring, lifecycle management, and marketing attribution
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent documentation and process‑mapping skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing; MSP or IT services experience a plus
  • Understanding of AI tools and automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make)
